Where do I stand??
Im in a marriage where I am not happy, we've now been married for five years, together for nine years, we have two years old daughter, im seriously thinking of leaving the marital home because of marriage has fizzed out on both sides, im currently jobless Currently, after being laid off last year, I keep applying for jobs & nothing, this is also getting me down, she works, but heads just over water so im at home with our two year old, she's basically a bully. Thing is where do I stand if I should leave, what happens?. house divided? etc, I heard that if there is one there are children involved, she doesn't have to pay anything until my daughter is 16yrs old is it true?, although my name is the Mortgages, She also has a legacy because in the not too distant future where she would inherit £ 100k (ish), just in mind, I want some of this, I would clean my half of house and thats it!, she can keep the £ 100k & house and keep the change! it will be selfish?
Your going through some bumps when you allow your injured manhood to overshadow your marriage. If you are both just keep your heads above water, a divorce right now may financially ruin you both. You are in the same dilemma as many wives. If you have no job, how can you realistically think your wife who struggles to do it for the three of you can support two households. Or the extra burden of paying you half of the equity your home? As a mother, not foolish to think one second she would just let you walk out of your marriage with your daughter. I doubt it will happen. But if you win custody, she had to pay child support when ordered from this point on. The same goes for you. Good luck with all this .*
