Refinance Mortgage Process
When applying for refinancing a mortgage, how long does the process usually take?
From the time the formal application is submitted for the loan officer in the bank (it is a really small regional bank with only 3 branches), how long will the process take to get to closure. We had the formal assessment already (about 3 weeks ago) and wondering when we can expect to close? By the way, we have good FICO scores, so it's not a problem. Just wondering how long This process usually takes.
It may take serveral weeks before you can close the loan. Do you have an agent working for you? If so, this person press at a time. When you / your agent ask the bank what they say?
