Mortgage Rates Loans
My husband and I are thinking of buying our first home using his VA loan benefit. Our friends used their January 2009 and they got 5.5% interest rate, they have really great credit and we do, my husband's score on the 635th When I rang around today (in so-called six seats mortgage companies and banks) I was told VA has increased interest rates, two banks quoted me 6%, 3 said the 6.5% and another said 6.75%% .. These figures have nothing to do with credit; I have never given any info for those who only asked what the current VA mortgage rates were … I thought rates were let go … Im confused now
These seem high, im not sure what the current rate is, but we just bought our house through the VA and we've also got 5.5% fixed rate
