Mortgage Lending Terminology
I want to get into Mortgages?!
I am interested in starting a career in lending, such as a loan processor or underwriter. I some terminology and some college business classes, but no work experience. I would like to work for a realtory, mortgage company or bank. Any advice on how to get my foot in the door?
Obviously you'll need to apply. A type of company you left and it was credit unions. My Credit Union to mortgages has loans prosessors and closers. Check Credit Unions in your area. I know a lot about my credit union because I retired from there. If you are in Northern VA or DC area, e-mail me and I will give you info on that credit union and others in the area.
